The Sr Account Manager is the key point of contact for large corporate, social and in-house events. Responsible for event ownership for clients from the pre-planning phase through execution of MREP programs post-sale. This role works closely with the Creative Department to develop and refine client presentations and creative decks that align with the client's vision and objectives. The Sr Account Manager will be responsible for generating pricing information along with negotiating terms to finalize contracts and ensuring that all financial aspects and details are accurately reflected, clearly communicated, and agreed upon with the client. The Sr Account Manager plays a key role in achieving and exceeding revenue targets and enhancing the experiences of guests throughout the client journey. This position will work independently to ensure all event requirements and client requests are facilitated to standards from event pre-planning through event execution and billing.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Fosters relationships with clients, internal departments, vendors, catering, AV, convention sales and services departments, etc., while managing and supporting all event solutions, timelines and logistics within client budget, time and venue constraints for the overall scope of assigned events.

Meets with clients during sales calls to drive revenue for the department and company and follows up with clients in a timely manner.

Assume the role of the main point of communication between the client and all departments/vendors within the property both in pre-planning and on-site.

Develop a strong working relationship with all support departments to ensure a successful event for the customers.

Develops and maintains a global understanding of MGMRI property and local Las Vegas venues and understand venue capabilities and opportunities.

Provides ideas to sell and upsell clients, by staying current in all MREP and vendor inventories, design trends, entertainment opportunities, production and industry technologies.

Leads and collaborates with teams both internally and externally on-site at event installations and strikes as needed.

Participates in and leads critique and final walk through with clients and support required reasonable changes, additions and removals as needed.

Reconciles financials post event for billing purposes.

Liaises with MGMRI clients to support in business development and ensure repeat business.

Engage in all training and development, conducts market research and attends trade shows and conventions to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
