The HCM Operations Support Lead will serve as a senior-level contributor responsible for managing complex configuration requests and providing daily operational support for Workday and other HR systems. This position will lead the resolution of system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure timely and accurate handling of HR operational requests. The expected result is a stable and compliant HCM environment that supports seamless HR operations and delivers a positive, efficient experience for employees and stakeholders.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and other HR systems, with a focus on operational stability and user support.

Lead the intake, analysis, and execution of complex configuration and enhancement requests across multiple HCM modules (e.g., Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Benefits).

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses to operational support tickets and user inquiries.

Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Payroll, and TDD to ensure system changes align with business needs and compliance requirements.

Conduct impact analysis and testing (unit, regression, and user acceptance) for Workday releases, patches, and configuration updates.

Maintain and enforce governance standards for data integrity, security roles, and business process configurations.

Support mass data uploads and organizational changes using EIBs and other Workday tools.

Monitor and maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards related to HR systems and data.

Provide guidance and documentation for end users and HR partners on system functionality, processes, and best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues, recommending process enhancements, and supporting roadmap planning.
