Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Builds dashboards and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI; conducts user-acceptance testing and data validation | Extracts, compiles, and cleans HR data from Workday, SQL server, and various other sources | Actively seeks out new opportunities to optimize capabilities while considering down-stream impact and ensuring data integrity | Provides data analysis for a variety of needs to better inform decision-making; effectively communicates the narrative of the data, including trends and/or incongruities | Partners with business stakeholders to understand their requests and ensures a solution that meets their needs | Follows established service standards and procedures while ensuring that deadlines are met within time frames and quality expectations | Maintains a solid understanding of the Company’s goals and objectives | Strong aptitude for quickly troubleshooting and identifying the cause of questionable results within extracts and reports | Demonstrated business analyst experience; communicating effectively with business clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions | Analyzes issues independently, uses judgement to make decisions, and takes necessary action |
