This position oversees and coordinates horticulture maintenance across the properties they oversee externally and any interior horticulture plants. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Responsible for managing the maintenance and operations of the horticulture teams work and performance across multiple properties including their standards, safety, and skills training; Oversees all gardening trades and responsibilities which includes arborists, pest management, irrigation, and equipment maintenance. | Oversees the warehouse areas of their properties to ensure operation is meeting requirements; implement new or adjust current policies, programs, or procedures to address any operational, service, or skills gaps. | Provides input to new products and processes to drive the strategic vision of the organization and continues to establish environmentally sustainable methods and cost savings techniques. | Implements landscape design changes and upgrades and ensure designs meet property appearance standards. | Responsible for department P&L; Oversees and approves orders for plant material and supplies for the department. | Utilized systems and reports to analyze and address areas concern and defines needs for improvement. | Oversee Human Resources responsibilities for department to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements. |
