Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support analytics and business applications. | Develop, implement, and maintain data models that align with business logic and analytics requirements. | Drives actionable insights to optimize revenue strategies and financial performance. | Create and optimize semantic layers for revenue management tools and analytics platforms. | Create and maintain data pipelines and orchestration processes to consolidate data from multiple sources into accessible and usable structures. | Develop and enforce data governance practices, including standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Enforce data governance policies to maintain data security, quality, and compliance across systems. | Collaborate with data platform architects to ensure seamless integration of new data sources and technologies. | Enhance data accuracy and consistency by standardizing and normalizing data assets across systems. | Partner with analytics and product teams to understand and translate data requirements into technical designs and work with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. | Provide technical support and guidance to analytics teams, enabling them to leverage data effectively. | Conduct data validation and testing to identify and address issues proactively. | Document workflows, processes, and data assets to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity. | Manage and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data assets across systems. | Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data assets with organizational objectives and business needs. | Monitor and maintain data quality across platforms, resolving discrepancies and ensuring consistency. | Acts as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating technical requirements into actionable business insights. Support the implementation of adaptive pricing models, forecasting tools, and other revenue management initiatives. | Ensure data assets comply with all relevant regulations and internal security protocols.
