As a Mini Bar Coordinator, you will be the backbone of the minibar financial effort. Your role is essential to optimizing revenue and minimizing debt. You will also serve as the main point of contact for all department related inquiries.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Review charges/credits in the Minibar Suspense/Dispute accounts

Move credits/charges to the correct guest folio

Settle guest accounts accordingly and in a timely manner

Create and update Excel Spreadsheets

Research variances to ensure charges are posted correctly

Research all guest disputes

Work closely with the accounting team

Perform weekly money transfers

Answer telephones and respond to general inquiries

Direct work orders and guest requests pertaining to the Minibar

General office and paper filing

Interact with peers

KSAs

Knowledge in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English

Excellent customer service skills

Polished appearance and demeanor

Ability to work effectively with other departments, guests and management

Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests

Skilled, proactive communicator in all formats/channels (phone, email, face to face), ensuring an effective response delivered  in an appropriate manner

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Knowledge of principles and practices of budget preparation and administration

Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations

Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent Federal, State and local laws, code and regulations, impacting Front Office  Management
