The Director will be responsible for overseeing the build and maintenance of digital workspace operating systems, application packaging, publishing, patching, workspace support, and the deployment and management of virtual desktop infrastructure and thin client applications. Additionally, the successful candidate will be oversee endpoint management, incuding mobile management, and productivity services. The ideal candidate will deliver innovative solutions to enhance user experience, productivity, and security across the organization.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the build and maintenance of workspace operating systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security for all users.

Develop and manage seamless application packaging and patching processes that minimize disruption and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Lead a support team dedicated to providing exceptional service and resolving workspace-related issues promptly.

Manage the deployment and ongoing maintenance of VDI and thin client applications, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience.

Take ownership of endpoint management strategies, utilizing tools such as Intune and Jamf to maintain a secure and efficient environment across all devices.

Direct mobile device management initiatives to facilitate secure access to corporate resources and support a growing mobile workforce.

Drive adoption and proficient use of productivity services such as Office 365, Exchange, Lucidchart, SharePoint, and Power Platform, aligning with business needs and enhancing collaboration.

Establish and track KPIs and SLAs to evaluate effectiveness and user satisfaction with digital workspace services.

Oversee digital workspace operations, including on-call escallation, monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to ensure high availability and resilience.

Develop and manage the workspace services portfolio, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deliver value to the organization.

Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in workspace solutions to continuously innovate and improve the services offered.

Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and professional development within the workspace services team.
