Job Profile Title: | Tech Props-Union | Job Code: | 10391 | Profile Title: | 10391 Tech Props-Union | Grade / Band: | Union - Hourly | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | Under the supervision of the Head, Assistant Head, and Leads of the Props Department, the Props Technician will collaborate with other theatrical departments during the performances, rehearsals, and/or maintenance work with the goal of presenting and entertainment experience beyond our guest's expectations. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Run cue tracks to position and operate show props as directed for performances, artist training and maintenance | Inspect and maintain show props and related equipment | Update maintenance and inspection records as directed by departmental leadership | Maintain a safe working environment at all times by conforming to establish safety policies and procedures | Participate in required safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training | Maintain cue track documentation and participate in cue track rotation as directed by departmental leadership | Develop a thorough knowledge of prop equipment specific to the production in order to operate equipment safely | Collaborate on special projects including the construction and installation of new show props and puppet elements |
