Job Profile Title: | Clerk Scheduling | Job Code: | 10479 | Profile Title: | 10479 Clerk Scheduling | Grade / Band: | 05 | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | It is the primary responsibility of the Scheduling Clerk to provide support for the Housekeeping Department by answering all calls and dispatching responses accordingly. Additionally, this position will monitor the status of guest rooms, control the issuing and retrieval of department master keys and radios, and provide clerical support for the department. All duties are performed in accordance with department standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Ensure department personnel are scheduled appropriately and in accordance with demands, as well as any special projects. | Post schedules outside the Department Office on daily basis. | Make recommendations for adjustments to staffing levels. | Answer telephone calls respond to questions and handle requests from internal and external guests; dispatch appropriate services, team members, and/or supervisors or route phone calls to appropriate departments. | Assist management team with shift change tasks, including turning over all services paperwork, and collecting and/or distributing keys, and radios from/to team members. | Monitor rooms for check-outs and ready-for-inspection; alert Housekeeping Supervisors and management team. | Maintain communication and follow up with Front Desk and Facilities regarding special requests, work orders, and HotSOS cases. | Work with management on VIP arrivals and special projects. | Process guest lost and found inquiries; track inquiries and items, as established by department procedures; as well as deliver and retrieve items to and from Security Lost & Found. | Complete payroll exceptions on a daily basis. |
