As a Roast Cook, you will be responsible for set-up and operation of your workstation.  You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Follow appropriate methods of food preparation, cooking, sizing of portions, mixing of sauces and garnishing of foods to ensure that food is prepared in an approved manner as prescribed by the Chefs

Set-up and operate workstation based on pars established by the Chefs and follow station set-up sheet

Evaluate cooked food before serving for quality of flavor and appearance by taste and smell

Drive the Customer Relations Management system by ensuring that all orders are handled correctly

Comply with occupational, health and safety standards

Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use of thermometers

Complete closing requirements as directed by Chefs

Performs other job-related duties as requested

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Required

Associate's Degree

F&B and/or course certification from an accredited Culinary Institute

Preferred

3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience

Experience in a high-volume/fine dining restaurant, preferably in a hotel/casino environment

Preferred

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Excellent knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and the ability to read, translate and execute recipes

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

Work without direct supervision

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to work under pressure

Must possess the ability to access all areas of the restaurant

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
