The primary responsibility of the Network Technician is to provide deployment of evolving network solutions for the Convention Network Services department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

Ensure that network services meet corporate & client expectations and meet deadlines

Deploy temporary network cabling and network equipment to facilitate the needs of conventions

Log changes and connections made to the network

Communicate project status and delivery information to management

Interface with internal departments, clients and vendors to resolve issues

Conduct routine maintenance to convention network to maintain system integrity

Build network cables for temporary use in convention areas

Become fluent in MGM Resorts properties, convention/ballrom spaces and venues as it relates to the network infrastructure

Stay current in network enterprise solutions, vendor products, and net technologies

Performs other job-related duties as requested

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Associate's Degree

Information Systems, Computer Science or related Field, or equivalent education and experience
