Oversee and inspect the completion of all work performed by Painters. Create a courteous, professional, and engaging team environment that performs maintenance and repairs performing the duties of combination painter in all phases of painting and wall covering on all areas of the property. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Perform, delegate, plan and coordinate required repairs, adjustments, or replacement of equipment | Work with vendors, contractors, and other internal departments | Provide estimates and order materials | Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbook | Respond to all facility emergencies and coordinate containment and repairs; report on a daily log all operational conditions during shift, ensure completion of assigned and closed-out work orders | Walk daily route, report and supervise necessary repairs | Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner; to include ability to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment as required, prepare surface to be painted, paint and install wall covering, adjust paint to proper color as necessary, patch, tape and texture and acoustic as necessary | Keep team informed and updated on current technical methods | Advise management of any unusual conditions within the property | Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment | Maintain constant awareness of property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention, able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.) |
