As an Entertainment Casual/Entertainment Technician, you are responsible for the set up and operation of entertainment lounge equipment. Additionally, you are responsible for daily guest satisfaction and interaction in the Entertainment Lounge and other areas where live entertainment performs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Performs, but not limited to, the following: setup, operation, strike, inventory, construction and maintenance of all types of audio, lighting, staging and musical equipment used in entertainment area/events
Ensures live entertainment talent has the equipment and technical assistance necessary to perform.
Periodically operates camera equipment.
Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property

Previous experience in performing the overall load in, strike, inventory and maintenance of all types of audio, lighting, musical and stage equipment used in all entertainment areas	Preferred

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting	Preferred
Previous experience in maneuvering scenery and supplies weighing up to 1500 pounds using pallet jacks, rolling carts or forklifts	Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
KSAs
Ability to lift and/or carry equipment, scenery or supplies weighing up to 75 pounds
Ability to climb a ladder or stairs
Ability to work at heights up to 50’ above the ground
Must be able to drive a scissor lift
Must be able to sit for up to 50% of the shift
Must be able to walk for up to 50% of the shift
Must be able to operate electric motors, hydraulic motors, “follow spots”, lighting control boards, sound mixing consoles, microphones, equalizers and other musical equipment
Will need to manipulate an electric saw, hammer, drill, screwdriver, pliers, wrenches, soldering irons, wire strippers and other hand tools.
Must be able to work around loudspeakers, hazer and smoke machines, electricity and paint
Will have to communicate effectively via telephone, radio and headset intercom system
Will need to be able to bend and/or reach from ground level up to 6’ high
Must be able to push and/or pull scenery or carts weighing up to 200 pounds
Will require crawling 5 to 10 feet in order to get scenery setup up
Must be able to kneel to set up scenery
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Well-developed inter-personal skills
