Ensure efficient space utilization by properly placing business in hotel space, maximizing meeting space opportunities for space during high and low demand periods and identifying space opportunities for catering only groups to assist with overall catering budgets. Position will provide monthly summary on availability and patterns at respective Hotel to ensure entire brand has visibility to opportunity dates among all properties. Manage and coordinate hotel holds on entertainment venues and ensure effective communication and collaboration on booking statuses. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Report all open weeks and patterns to Global Sales and Leadership teams assist in creating programs to improve room sales and to target soft and off-peak periods | Input details of all meeting space into Delhi in accordance with booking guidelines along with reviewing all turnovers to ensure program of events in Agreement matches what is being held in Delphi | Work with each respective National Sales Manager on firming up load in / load out times for all large meeting space | Monitor meeting space in Delphi to identify patterns or shifts that will offer availability for small group sales team and catering only opportunities | Manage ongoing calendar of events with Entertainment team to ensure we are holding events correctly with Entertainment Venue | Update the entertainment team as convention/entertainment events go definite and release when necessary |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Knowledgeable of Delphi and how to effectively put function space on hold | Knowledgeable of meeting room capacities, banquet set-up, and any other pertinent details as they related to function room set-up | Knowledgeable of basic AV and setup required for AV as it relates to the time needed to set up but also the square footage needed in a room to ensure contracted capacities are correct | Ability to train and motivate multiple levels of associates and managers by helping the entire organization meet and exceed sales targets | Must have good collaboration skills to be able to work with all departments effectively | Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms | Able to lead and mentor a team | Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment | Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine | Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts |
