The Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) extends current college students the opportunity to launch a career with MGM Resorts International. Hospitality Interns are exposed to various departments to gain a well-rounded awareness of MGM Resorts International's operation. During the 10-week paid internship program Interns learn best practices and operational strategies from top executives to line level experts building a solid career foundation. Hospitality Interns support MGM Resorts International's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by giving back to the community through volunteer activities. HIP sets the stage for post-graduation opportunities including MGM's Management Associate Program and full-time employment. 


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Receive personalized learning plans specifically aligned to their goals and development opportunities in their chosen area of concentration.

Network with Company leaders while attending Resort Knowledge Days, a learning series that provides insight into the complex  business strategies of our properties.

Gain exposure within one or two departments to gain a cross-functional understanding of the MGM Resorts business strategy.

Participate in MGM Resorts’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by engaging in diversity training, philanthropic events,  etc.

Currently hold and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a United States 4.0 scale.
