Job Profile Title: | Marketing Mgr | Job Code: | 11681 | Profile Title: | 11681 Marketing Mgr | Grade / Band: | IC3 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | It is the primary purpose of the Marketing Manager of the Corporate Entertainment & Sports team to deliver unique, memorable and world class entertainment experiences to our guests, employees and partners, while delivering consistent, innovative and efficient operations. The Entertainment Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the Director of Entertainment & Sports Marketing along with the Entertainment Marketing department in all areas of promoting live events. They will be managing the implementation of marketing strategies for MGM Resorts' venues, which can include (but not limited to) Production Show Theaters, T-Mobile Arena, Grand Garden Arena, Michelob ULTRA Arena, Toshiba Plaza, Mandalay Beach Concerts, Dolby Live, and hosted events. Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Serve as the point person and expert on the Entertainment Marketing team for governance of all enterprise-wide marketing priorities; this may include governance of on- property owned assets, website assets (carousel), e-mail content priorities, entertainment needs, partnership communications, corporate initiatives and general hierarchy of enterprise-wide portfolio priorities. | Collaborate with the Director of Entertainment & Sports Marketing to develop marketing strategy for events (media, digital, social, PR, etc.) to leverage the size and scale of the entertainment organization to cross sell and promote multiple events and programs effectively and efficiently. | In partnership with Entertainment and Marketing teams, ensure MGM Resorts International partners are capitalized on and meeting goals and objectives. | Collaborate with the Entertainment and Marketing leaders to create, execute and communicate partner awareness campaigns and marketing plans to drive brand awareness and ticket sales for MGM Resorts International events. | Assist in go-to-market strategy and execution across all MGM Resorts International Entertainment Marketing partners. | Build relationships with various departments and the internal/external advertising agencies and proactively collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs, timing, business impact and expectations. | Manage the campaign scope of work and ensures the smooth workflow of projects from start to finish, as well as recommending solutions to ensure we are meeting the needs of the various Entertainment Marketing campaigns. Including creative content development for direct marketing campaigns. | Lead the development of marketing strategy for events (media, digital, social, PR, etc.) to cross sell and promote multiple events and programs effectively and efficiently. | Write creative briefs for advertising projects and brief media, creative and research staff on projects while driving a culture of teamwork, integrity, excellence and inclusion. | Provide direction and recommendations to agencies and departments that align to our brand strategy as it relates to specific Sports & Sponsorship partner marketing. | Partner with Director Entertainment Marketing to develop campaigns and marketing plans. | Manage projects while ensuring they are produced on time and on budget; drive effective, efficient and correct flow of communication to ensure the tasks are achieved. | Open jobs with internal agency. | Provide direction and recommendations to agencies and departments that align to our brand strategy. | Stay current on key marketing trends, best practices and destination or economic research (LVCVA data, ANA information and relevant industry trends). |
