It is the primary responsibility of the Marker Operations Specialist to investigate and analyze data on patrons related to marker limit  privileges and process marker limit requests and applications. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local  laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of relevant marker limit issues and regulations, (Title 31 and Know Your Customer “KYC). Provide  Know Your Customer (“KYC”) reports and analyses to department management to assist in their KYC reviews and reports.

Conduct public record and financial research on marker limit and cash patrons’ source of funds, financial stability, and background  history and provide analyses to department management.

Utilize third party reports, SOS records, IRS tax forms, etc. to conduct CDD reviews and provide analyses to department management.

Communicate and collaborate with patrons, other gaming establishments, and MGMRI’s Cages, Collections, Property Casino  Marketing Departments, MLife Operations, and Branch Offices for processing Marker Limit Requests.

Establish, process, update, and maintain patrons’ marker limit related correspondences, arrivals, applications, Central Credit gaming  reports, and consumer credit reports in pertinent casino system.

Process Central Credit RTM reports and provide completed reports to Management for review.

Obtain, verify, and process banking information from various banking institutions. Verify cashier's checks, official checks, and bank  drafts. Maintain accurate and complete records of all Marker Operations activities.

Audit marker limit/TTO change transactions and marker limit code change transactions,  and provide the audited reports to  Management for review.

Maintain awareness of indicators of suspicious or fraudulent activities to prevent and identify potential suspicious and fraudulent  actions. Understand and protect confidentiality of customer and company information.

Send “Unlimited” report emails daily to credit authorizers to confirm approvals required by NGCB regulations.

Answer multiple phone lines, including preferred phone lines while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Perform other jobrelated duties as requested.
