Job Profile Title: | Shift Mgr Surveillance | Job Code: | 11826 | Profile Title: | 11826 Shift Mgr Surveillance | Grade / Band: | L1 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | It is primary responsibility of the Surveillance Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of their shift to meet company and departmental practices, procedures, and Gaming Commission regulations. The Surveillance Shift Manager will assist in overseeing game protection and security of the guest and employee experience. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Supervise the operations of the Surveillance Lead Operators and Operators during their shift; including operation of CCTV equipment, writing and preparing daily reports and logs, and maintaining evidence through dubbing and saving video files. Report equipment repair requests discovered to the technical team. | Responsible for the accuracy, quality, quantity, and documentation of observations during their designated shift. Reviews video and documentation when appropriate, including specific jackpots, guest complaints, potential procedural errors, risk management issues, theft incidents, and variances. | Maintains an extensive understanding of all casino games, including payoffs and game odds, rules, procedures, cheating methods, and advantage play methods, in order to provide necessary training to Operators and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Attend company‐sponsored training classes to assist with department training. | Point of contact with the state Gaming Regulator for cheating and customer complaint incidents and various outside agencies. | Maintains shift schedules and responsibilities for the team to ensure proper coverage. | Performs one‐on‐one meetings with their teams and addresses any concerns or requests; actively employs conflict resolution, resolving any issues between employees. | Ensures the consistency of the Surveillance operation results through enforcement of Surveillance SOPs, administers discipline as appropriate. Assist in the interview process for new hires and promotions. |
