Job Profile Title: | Dir Warehouse Operations | Job Code: | 12116 | Profile Title: | 12116 Dir Warehouse Operations | Grade / Band: | L3 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for providing leadership to all warehousing functions within MGM Resorts International, including but is not limited to, managing the warehousing operations to provide efficiency and accurate receiving, deliveries, effective planning, and leadership and development of the personnel in each of the warehouses. The Director of Warehouse Operations also manages the cost-effective distribution of inventory and assets within the properties and offsite warehouses as well as finding continuous improvement ideas that benefit the short and long-term goals of the company. The Director is also responsible for managing the facility-related assets including collaborating with COE's on maintenance contracts and capital-related upgrades and repairs. The Director of Warehouse Operations also ensures internal audit and quality assurance standards, as well as all external regulatory requirements, are met in all locations. The Director will collaborate with Property Operations, COE's, FSSC and others to ensure supply chain effectiveness and to ensure internal and external customer service expectations are met. Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Manage the Property and offsite warehouses to ensure all job functions are completed, including warehouse receiving, requisition updates, internal transfer updates, cycle counts, accurate inventory valuation and item stock control maintenance. | Also manage the lifecycle of centralized warehouse ordering and assist with inventory data in collaboration with the Properties and Corporate COE's. | Work directly with leadership, the Director of Inventory Control and planning team to standardize policies and procedures across all properties, ensure inventory accuracy, management of efficient warehouse configurations, logistical improvements and improve service delivery model and stakeholder satisfaction. | Lead development and monitoring of warehouse operations, staffing, budgets, and strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability and manage a smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation to include labor management, supervision of all aspects. | Assists the Supply Chain VP with developing and growing the quality, service and warehouse receiving issues as well as ongoing continuous improvement opportunities as well as oversee the implementation of the proper metrics, SLA's, accountability of KPI's and measurements to drive improvement. | Leads, mentors, trains and develops the Warehouse teams at all property and offsite warehouses to leverage strengths and improve abilities by providing support, feedback and coaching. |
