Coordinate, assessment and planning of the employee's light duty placement, by reviewing limitations and restrictions received from the healthcare professionals to develop return to work plans that are tailored to the individuals needs |
Work with Company Return-to-Work Specialists and properties to identify and develop modified duty opportunities available for injured employees |
Communication and coordination of the information to departments serving as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR Personnel and the Company Workers Compensation team, facilitating open communication to address progress and compliance of the light duty program |
Responsible for collaborating with Company Return to Work Specialist and ADA Department to follow corporate guidelines regarding permanent restrictions processes |
Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees throughout their return-to-work process advocating for reasonable accommodations and promoting understanding amount team members |
Ongoing regular cadence of communication with injured worker to insure understanding of workers compensation process |
Encouragement of use of Third-Party Administrators self-service tools to promote understanding and better connectivity with claims professionals. |
Maintaining accurate records of return-to-work communications, return-to-work results and deviations from established processes and procedures. |
Review and evaluation of return-to-work data and results, providing feedback to operators of outcomes, trends and recommendations for improvement. |
Conduct regular training and education sessions with all associated departments to insure understanding of the Workers Compensation process, company polices & procedures as well as expectations of the company’s Third-Party Administrator |
Ensuring lost time for OSHA reporting is accurately documented, working with the return-to-work team at Corporate |
As defined by the Risk Director, Director of Worker’s Compensation, VP of Rick Management, and other Risk Management department leaders; participate in, lead or contribute to projects and tasks to further the improvement of overall Risk Management program |
