The Senior International Tax Accountant will also support business objectives and tax department goals as well as assist with other special projects, as needed. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Prepare the US International tax aspects of the US federal tax return including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8975, and 1118, E&P and foreign tax credit computations, related disclosures and elections | Prepare the quarterly and annual US international calculations including subpart F, GILTI, FTC, FDII, & BEAT. Assist with preparation and review of APB 23, Sec. 986 calculations, tax basis calculations, and asset allocation calculations | Coordination and review of international (local country) income tax filings and transfer pricing reports prepared by external providers | Establish solid working relationships with cross functional business partners to develop and maintain a deep understanding of legal entity operations, transaction flows, risks and functions in order to accurately prepare US international tax filings and provisions | Liaise with the International Tax Manager/Director in researching technical US International tax issues | Assist with global BEPS planning and compliance efforts | Assist in process improvement and technology advancement efforts, such as building Alteryx workflows to automate workpapers. | Assist in U.S. tax audits with respect to implications arising from international entities and related foreign tax credits, including preparing required documentation |
