Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Lead and manage the platform services team to achieve strategic objectives, ensuring high-quality service delivery that aligns with the organization's goals. | Develop and maintain deployment automation processes to streamline and improve the efficiency of code deployments and software delivery. | Drive the adoption and implementation of cloud engineering best practices, ensuring a robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. | Manage platform landing zone foundations, ensuring standardized and automated provisioning of resources across clouds. | Manage resource planning and vendor relationships related to platform services. | Oversee digital platform operations, including on-call escallation, monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to ensure high availability and resilience. | Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members. | Establish KPIs and SLAs to measure and improve platform service performance. | Champion the developer experience platform to provide engineers with the tools and environments they need to build and deploy applications securely, effectively, and efficiently. | Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and learning within the digital platform services team. | Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and integrate digital platform services with business processes. | Collaborate closely with infrastructure and application delivery leaders, facilitating a seamless interface to the MGM Resorts International digital ecosystem, facilitating a coherent approach to infrastructure provisioning, scalability, and security. |
