Job Profile Title: | Supv Digital Maintenance | Job Code: | 12420 | Profile Title: | 12420 Supv Digital Maintenance | Grade / Band: | 09 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | The Digital Maintenance Supervisor is the primary operational leader for a team of Digital Maintenance Technicians within the live streaming studio, overseeing all technical support within the studio. This team is responsible for the installation and overall maintenance for all technical equipment within the studio. In addition to hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and providing additional coaching to Digital Technicians, this position will ensure service and operational procedures are adhered to, providing recommendations and feedback to the Studio Manager as needed. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Responsible for initial screening, hiring, onboarding, and on-going training and coaching of Digital Maintenance Technicians. Oversees scheduling, coaching, recognition, and discipline of employees. | Creates new procedures based on business and operational needs, communicates updates and changes to procedures to the team. Through regular coaching and recognition, guides team towards customer service and operational goals. | Monitors all production related services and hardware, assigns work as-needed for proactive updates, immediate action on outages and/or disruptions, and routine maintenance. | Provide technical support for all equipment used for the live streaming studio, including video streaming, data collection, and network communication systems. | Responsible for installation and continued maintenance of video streaming equipment, such as video cameras, a/v cards, and associated cable management, to ensure live streaming product meets department and regulatory standards. | Monitor live streaming service and related information systems to identify issues for immediate resolution; provides updates to Studio management on work performed, potential future issues for preventative maintenance, etc. | Monitor content delivery network (CDN) server connections to diagnose and solve issues, perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime. |
