Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance business intelligence (BI) solutions to meet organizational needs. | Establish and maintain best practices for data modeling, integration, and visualization to enable self-service analytics. | Lead the development of a unified BI platform that integrates data from various sources, including cloud and on-premises systems. | Oversee the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and orchestration processes to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and storage. | Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to implement integration frameworks for diverse data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Support the development of real-time data streaming solutions for critical business applications. | Supervise and mentor the Business Data Strategist, providing technical guidance and professional development opportunities. | Act as a technical liaison between business users, data engineers, and analysts to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals. Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and efficiency in data-related initiatives. Bridges technical and business perspectives, enabling seamless collaboration. | Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in BI and data management to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities. Create proof-of-concept projects to explore new data capabilities and ensure scalability. | Develop advanced data models and dashboards to support dynamic pricing, forecasting, and revenue optimization strategies. Regularly audit data workflows, monitor system performance, and resolve issues proactively. | Document processes, architectures, and system configurations to ensure knowledge continuity and operational resilience. Monitor and maintain data quality across platforms, resolving discrepancies and ensuring consistency. | Acts as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating technical requirements into actionable business insights. Advocate for customer needs in data-related decisions and ensure alignment with revenue optimization goals. | Innovation and insights, leveraging advanced analytics and tools to identify opportunities for improving data utilization and quality.
