The incumbent is responsible for defining and articulating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the broader revenue optimization goals. The Director prioritizes product features and requirements based on business value and customer needs, acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the development teams. The candidate will drive product development to meet business objectives, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to the achievement of revenue targets. The candidate will play a critical role in leading the charge on initiatives such as the optimization of pricing models, the enhancement of revenue management tools (including those from Marriott and Ideas Profit Feed), and the development of new tools and technologies to support the company's growth. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for revenue optimization technologies, ensuring these elements are clearly communicated to stakeholders across the organization and remain aligned with the overarching business objectives. | Prioritize product features and requirements, ensuring that development efforts focus on delivering maximum value and impact. | Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization, including engineering, pricing, and operations, to ensure the successful development, launch, and adoption of new products and features. | Continuously monitoring and analyzing product performance. Leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and enhance product value, ensuring ongoing optimization and improvement. | Guide and mentor team members in the development and execution of product strategies, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. | Shape the future of Data availability and Revenue Management tools, driving innovation, and ensuring these technologies effectively support the company's pricing and distribution strategies. | Bridge technical and business perspectives, enabling seamless collaboration and establishing a scalable and adaptable framework for data asset management to meet future needs. | Oversee the selection, implementation, and enhancement of Revenue Management and Forecasting tools, including industry-leading solutions, ensuring these tools are seamlessly integrated into the company's technology ecosystem. | Oversee the design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support analytics and business applications. | Implement data pipelines and orchestration processes to consolidate data from multiple sources into accessible and usable structures. | Collaborate with data platform architects to ensure seamless integration of new data sources and technologies. |
