The Manager of Cloud Services is tasked with leading efforts to ensure an integrated cloud services foundation across public platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. Reporting to the Director of Platform Services, this individual will have the responsibility of managing the team who designs, implements, and maintains a secure, dependable, and scalable cloud environment. The manager will drive initiatives that support application delivery and management lifecycle and maintain the digital services' performance, cost efficiency, and availability within a multi-cloud framework.

Manage the cloud operations team with focus to achieve infrastructure objectives, ensuring high-quality service delivery from a high performing team that aligns with the organization's goals.

Manage cross-departmental efforts, including collaboration with FinOps, SecOps, DataOps, and Digital Engineering teams to advance the cloud ecosystem. Ensure focus on the best interests of the company and manage conflicts of priority and interest.

Manage cloud operations improvement solutions across GCP, OCI, AWS, and Azure, ensuring a cohesive multi-cloud environment.

Promote reliable cloud infrastructures using automation tools to facilitate provisioning, configuration, deployment, scaling, and management.

Ensure use of reusable cloud components and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Ensure focus of coding standards and best practices, and provide code reviews to improve automation practices.

Engage in the responsibility for performance, cost efficiency, security, scalability, and high availability.

Engage with teams and stakeholders to foster a shared understanding and cohesive strategy regarding the cloud platform's operations and growth.

Establish KPIs and SLAs for cloud operations, monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions for service improvement.

Manage cloud operations on-call cadance and participate in escallations as needed.

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.

Required

Master's Degree or equivalent experience

Engineering Management or Business Administration.

2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience

Leading cloud operations or engineering efforts across multiple cloud providers.

Understanding of infrastructure systems automation, custom scripting, and applications to enhance operations.

Familiar with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Monit, DataDog, AppDynamics).

Understanding of distributed systems design, such as microservices and event-driven architectures.

Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly.

Profound grasp of software security best practices within cloud architectures.

Ability to lead a high performing team.

Ability to communicate and negotiate competing priorities with multiple stakeholders and interests.

Ability to rapidly prototype and promote the adoption of new cloud technologies and methodologies.
