The candidate provides direction and leadership for the Manager, Assistant Manager and the service team consistent with the MGM brand. The Sr Manager is responsible for leading the team to achieve the operational and financial goals of the venue(s); driving covers and optimizing reservation channels; monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; maintaining the facilities in accordance with MGM Resorts service standards; and ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Partner with Director of Beverage to execute assigned business development initiatives and develop/monitor current practices to ensure financial objectives are being met to maximize potential financial return. | Manages Human Resources responsibilities to include creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, development and succession planning; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements. | Owns, leads and oversees health/safety standards, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control and execution and development of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability. | Supervise floor operations during operating hours to include promotions and nightly activations while managing the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company's core service standards. | Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes in order to maximize profitability of venues & operations. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Complete knowledge of health and safety regulations. | Knowledge of products, menu items and equipment used to perform these duties. | Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and other outside contacts. | Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS)systems and operations. | Ability to execute on guidelines for proper staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs. | Strong overall knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation. | Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead and mentor a team. | Excellent organizational skills; be able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail. |
