Job Profile Title: | Dir Title 31 Compliance | Job Code: | 12561 | Business_Title | Dir Title 31 Compliance | Profile Title: | 12561 Dir Title 31 Compliance | Grade / Band: | L3 | FLSA Status: | Exempt | The Director of Title 31 Compliance ensures the integrity of all Federal and State Regulatory reporting related to Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA), for 9 Las Vegas and 6 Regional properties. This individual will interact with property operational departments and provide support to Compliance Directors at other regional properties. The Director is responsible for overseeing the Title 31 Audit department, ensuring that the audit program is relevant, effective and not stagnate. The Title 31 Audit department will audit, review and analyze financial transactions to ensure that they are properly logged and reported across all lines of business, as well as look for possible suspicious activity, money laundering and/or violations of Title 31 regulations. The Director will analyze transactions utilizing internal systems and reports, as well as external systems and tools. This role partners and communicates with departments in the organization to gather information and develop consistent practices. The candidate will perform diverse duties to support the Financial Investigation Department / Corporate Compliance. The Director will detect and address risk factors in the AML space and develop processes to mitigate the Company's exposure. This position will be responsible for writing the internal controls as it relates to Title 31, Title 26 and respective State Gaming regulations. Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Assist in designing and developing programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all business units are in compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Title 31, and applicable State and Federal reporting requirements | Play an integral role with IRS Examinations and other jurisdictional regulatory examinations relating to AML/BSA Compliance and serve as a liaison. | Coordinate remedial measures in response to issues raised in examinations, audits and AML failures. | Ensure that all department monitoring, investigation, data validation, reporting and recordkeeping functions are performed. | Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures and internal controls relating to BSA/AML and provide strategic insight and recommend enhancements to VP US Financial Compliance as needed. | Support and participate in new technology initiatives to ensure strict compliance with the Regulatory requirements and streamline processes to ensure that AML obligations are paramount to any project. | Understand the intricacies of online gaming and sports wagering and share continuous improvement strategies to mitigate the company’s risk. | Assist in initial detection of Suspicious Activity Reporting and elevates data to the Financial Investigations Department. | Collaborate with property operational departments and Compliance Directors at other regional properties. | Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. |
