The Manager of Sportsbook Trading Operations provides oversight and decision-making on trading operations for BetMGM sportsbooks and the BetMGM application. This position acts as an authorizer for trading operations, including point spreads, betting lines, and special incoming bet requests, making business decisions based on subject-matter expertise, risk management, and market liabilities. The manager ensures all sports betting transactions comply with regulations and internal compliance controls through regular oversight of transactions at BetMGM sportsbooks. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Leads and executes BetMGM’s trading strategy throughout the product lifecycle for various event environments, ensuring alignment with gaming compliance regulations and company standards under the direction of the Director.
Assists with implementing strategies based on analysis of customer risk profiles and knowledge of the current market, works with BetMGM partners on implementing strategies and identifying future risk/opportunities.
Supports all product initiatives as part of BetMGM partnership, maintains thorough knowledge of all gaming regulations and Title 31 compliance.
Ensures guest service standards are consistent with MGMRI standards and brand attributes, responds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner.
Utilizes knowledge and experience to set pricing levels for major events, monitors for market liabilities and communicates to BetMGM R&S teams appropriately.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
KSAs
Extensive working knowledge of Treasure, Title 31, GCB, and internal control requirements.
Strong working knowledge of all aspects of Sportsbook Operations.
Strong knowledge and understanding of fraud prevention and credit scams.
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically Outlook and Excel.
Excellent customer service skills; interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
