Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Brand Strategy is a strategic and creative leader responsible for shaping and executing the brand vision across both the corporate brand and a diverse but interconnected portfolio of digital and physical businesses. This role drives high-impact, measurable business outcomes by leading brand strategy, creative development, social media engagement and marketing operations initiatives that align with the company's overarching goals.

 

The SVP oversees a large, cross-functional team spanning corporate and property-level marketing functions, ensuring brand consistency, creative excellence, and audience engagement across multiple channels. This leader must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing bold creativity with analytical rigor and operational discipline. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in brand architecture, storytelling, performance marketing, and marketing operations, with a passion for building brands that resonate and perform.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of brand strategy across corporate and property-level entities, ensuring consistency and integrity across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints. Collaborate closely and ensure brand standards are established and met with joint ventures and other partners.

Oversee our creative teams and process, including development of our visual identity, oversight of content creation, campaign development, and innovation in brand expression through high-impact creative assets.

Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and alignment with broader brand goals. Collaborate closely with Performance Marketing to ensure that key audiences are targeted with optimized and performance creative content.

Lead and evolve the Marketing Operations function, ensuring seamless prioritization, coordination and execution across intra-marketing teams (e.g., brand, creative, digital) and inter-marketing functions (e.g., property-level, regional, or business unit marketing).

Drive marketing performance through KPI development and campaign effectiveness measurement, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Serve as a key advisor to the CMO on brand, creative, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team across corporate and property locations, fostering collaboration, growth, and excellence.

Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, ensuring integration with product, operations, and customer experience teams.

Oversee organizational marketing operations, including process optimization, technology enablement, and cross-functional alignment with Finance, IT, and HR.

Establish governance and best practices for marketing planning, resource management, and performance tracking.

Build and lead a Brand Experience vertical, delivering consistent, emotionally resonant, and differentiated brand interactions across all customer touchpoints.

Partner with CX, Product, and Operations teams to embed brand experience across the end-to-end customer journey.
