The Senior Business Data Analyst position requires a well-rounded mix of strategic thinking, advanced technical skills, leadership abilities, and deep business understanding. The candidate must possess strong stakeholder management and SBAs are expected to manage conflicting priorities, facilitate high-stakes meetings, and build trust across both technical teams and executive leadership. This role involves executing QA initiatives to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal standards. Development and mentoring of Business Analysts is expected.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of large-scale initiatives such as new data ingestion and tooling.
Participate in planning, scoping, and execution of quality initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
Serve as a key liaison between engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to enforce standardized naming conventions and data transformations in the data platform.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within quality and analytics, aligning with emerging industry standards and technologies.
Create and implement robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality standards for our Enterprise Data Hub (EDH).
Define and present quality assurance metrics and insights to executive stakeholders to instill confidence in our data.
Conduct audits, root cause analyses, and defect triaging to provide accurate and timely data to stakeholders.
Mentor, coach, and develop business analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
Help create and maintain governance policies, procedures and standards.
Ensure data lineage and definitions are documented and accessible.

Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).	Required
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.	Required
Experience with cloud Data Governance and Data Quality tools (e.g. Alation).	Preferred
Experience with Databricks.	Preferred
