The Sr Watch Engineer in Surveillance contributes to an environment of collaboration in which Surveillance supports partner  departments in providing outstanding service to all guests. Providing both customers and employees with a safe and secure gaming  experience by creating accountability to company policies and procedures as well as appropriate laws and regulations. 

Assists in training of surveillance technician staff, set examples, and proper procedures.

Oversee, guide, and assist with Install, configure, and maintaining the entirety of the CCTV (Closed Circuit Television)  systems. Including but not limited to: Analog/Digital Video Matrix, Network Recording solutions, NVR’s, Video Management  Systems and Cameras.

Install, configure, and maintain Access control and video analytic systems.

Verify all systems are functioning and all repairs are being made in a timely manner to meet regulations.

Implement all necessary changes to the approved digital systems to meet regulatory and MGM Resorts International  requirements.

Operate company vehicles and equipment to complete Surveillance work on and off property (Scissor lift, Boom lift, ladders  etc.)

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience

With CCTV digital surveillance systems, electronic repair within a casino, gaming and/or surveillance environment.

Required

Technical school or completed apprenticeship in similar trade

Preferred

Previous experience working in a similar resort surveillance technical setting.

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Basic working knowledge of various computer technology and software to include Microsoft Office applications.

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Maintain a professional, neat and well‐groomed appearance adhering to company standards

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular  attention to detail
