The Lead Workforce Management & HR Systems Architect will be responsible for guiding the strategy, design, development, and delivery for HR and Workforce Management systems and applications. This includes the design and implementation of core technologies that enable developers, employees, and contractors to operate effectively, securely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert, engaging with stakeholders, including leadership, business partners, vendors, and IT security teams.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise-level architectural road maps for Workforce Management and HR applications (e.g., ReadyOn, Workday, UKG Pro Workforce Management), ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and IT governance.

Serve as the lead architect for Workforce Management and HR systems, balancing functional requirements with technical design to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions.

Architect and govern integration strategies across Workforce Management and HR systems, leveraging standardized frameworks to ensure interoperability and data integrity.

Champion best practices for configuration, deployment, and life cycle management, driving adherence to architectural standards and governance models.

Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into sustainable architectural solutions.

Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure consistent application and enforcement of architectural principles, including security, compliance, and data governance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing KPIs, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing enhancements with regards to labor forecasts and employee experience.

Stay knowledgeable of emerging trends in WFM, HR technology, and enterprise architecture, ensuring the organization remains competitive and future ready.

Drive a culture of innovation and excellence by enabling cross-functional collaboration and promoting continuous knowledge sharing across teams.
