The Analyst ensures the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise platforms while supporting end-users, resolving technical issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and drive automation. The Analyst will evaluate system configurations to identify areas for improvement, maintain thorough documentation for compliance and scalability, and performs all duties in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise applications and platforms as specified, including upgrades, patches, integrations, and performance tuning | Analyze system requirements and maintain configurations for enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs | Implement and enforce configuration standards and controls across IT systems | Monitor application and system availability, stability, and usage to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime | Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related and application support issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions | Administer user access as required, permissions, workflows, and security roles in compliance with organizational and audit requirements | Support automation and scripting for configuration management and workflow processes | Maintain configuration control and detailed documentation for compliance, audit readiness, and change-management activities | Support data integrity through routine audits, reporting, and coordination with database and infrastructure teams | Collaborate with IT, Security, IAM, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, automate workflows, and recommend system improvements | Lead or participate in projects to implement new modules, enhancements, and process improvements within applications and enterprise platforms | Prepare for and participate in regular reviews with IT leadership and business partners, balancing new configuration initiatives against ongoing projects and seeking innovation and continuous improvement |
