Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Take guest beverage orders and serve all items efficiently and accurately. Place drink orders, garnish beverages, and serve cocktails, beer, wine, nonalcoholic selections, specialty coffees, and Smartender beverages with appropriate garnishes | Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, nonalcoholic offerings, and hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities | Respond to guest inquiries with accuracy and resolve guest complaints within scope of authority or escalate when necessary. Notify leadership and Security of unusual events, guest incidents, missing items, or potential safety concerns | Open bottles and pour beverages directly from the bottle, including beer, wine, water, champagne, Baileys, juices, Bloody Mary mix and similar beverages, including premium selections. | Prepare mixed beverages using shakers, strainers, muddlers, and appropriate tools. | Prepare beverages using Tabasco, Grenadine, Lime Juice, Sweet and Sour Mix, Bitters, Worcestershire, Salt and Pepper, Celery Salt, and similar ingredients. Pour Red Bull and Ginger Beer accurately and consistently | Operate Smartender machines to prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Float alcohol on beverages dispensed from the Smartender system when required | Use coffee and espresso machines to create quality drinks including espresso beverages and specialty coffees | Operate the POS system to enter orders, process payments, adjust checks, and close transactions | Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment including folding or stacking cocktail napkins, stocking swizzle sticks, straws, matches, and lining cocktail trays | Restock glassware and supplies and maintain the cleanliness and condition of service areas while correcting any deficiencies immediately, and comply with SNHD Health Code Standards and Regulations | Maintain work areas in compliance with brand and regulatory standards |
