This role serves as the primary liaison between FP&A stakeholders and technical system teams, translating business requirements and planning needs into system design, data models, and reporting solutions. This role works across functional teams to enhance data flows, strengthen data accuracy, and build tools that make financial information easier to access and use. The manager also leads business-driven process improvement initiatives, drives system testing for new enhancements, and leads training to help teams work more effectively with the system. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Work closely with system stakeholders to understand business needs, translate those needs into clear functional requirements, and improve how Oracle EPM is used across the company. | Own management of metadata for the Oracle EPM application, with support from Solution Architect. | Manage day-to-day tasks such as user access, business rules, system updates, and troubleshooting, with support from Solution Architect. | Ensure the system is configured optimally for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. | Oversee ETL integration design, enhancement, and issue resolution; define and develop data extraction and integration requirements with support from the Solution Architect. | Validate data integrity and investigate any issues, with support from Solution Architect and Corp FP&A team. | Develop and maintain the reports, forms, and tools that help FP&A gain business and financial insights (SmartView/Narrative Reporting/online web forms). | Partner with FP&A leaders to ensure data structures, calculations, and outputs support key management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision making. | Lead projects to improve financial planning across enterprise, including leading UAT/SIT on new deployments or enhancements in collaboration with Solution Architect. | Capture and evaluate new functionality requests from end users, prioritize enhancements based on business value, and lead design and implementation with support from Solution Architect | Enable strong adoption of new functionality by ensuring solutions are intuitive, well documented, and aligned with how teams actually plan and report. | Train users across the organization on how to use the system and answer questions when needed. |
