This role serves as the primary liaison between FP&A leadership and technical system teams, translating business requirements and planning needs into system design, data models, and reporting solutions. This leadership role serves as the primary strategic partner to FP&A leadership, ensuring that our financial systems ecosystem provides robust analytical capabilities to drive critical business decisions. The Director also leads business-driven process improvement initiatives, drives system testing for new enhancements, and leads training to help teams work more effectively with the system. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Act as the senior business owner for Oracle EPM, accountable for platform performance, scalability, and value realization across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. | Lead enterprise engagement with Finance stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to align business requirements with technical execution. | Direct the strategy for system security provisioning, business rules, and platform stability and performance, with support from Solution Architect. | Establish and enforce standards for metadata management, dimensional design, business rules, data integrations, and reporting structures. | Oversee prioritization and intake of enhancement requests, balancing near-term business needs with long-term architectural integrity. | Oversee ETL integrations and data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reconciliation, and reliability across source systems with support from the Solution Architect. | Validate data integrity and investigate any issues, with support from Solution Architect and Corp FP&A team. | Develop and drive the evolution of the reports, forms, and tools to enable data-driven decision-making across the business (SmartView/Narrative Reporting/online web forms). | Partner with FP&A leaders to ensure data structures, calculations, and outputs support key management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision making. | Lead projects to improve financial planning across enterprise, including leading UAT/SIT on new deployments or enhancements in collaboration with Solution Architect. | Champion a user-centric design philosophy, ensuring solutions are intuitive, well-documented, and embedded in how finance teams plan and report. | Lead training of EPM users across the organization on how to use the system and answer questions when needed. |
