This mission-critical role is responsible for leading the operational integrity of relevant equipment, staff training/certifications, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance for providing emergency AED, CPR, First Aid, Narcan, and Stop the Bleed services to guests, team members, and the general public by Security personnel at all MGMRI Properties, Venues, and Events. This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) engaging with the Contracted Medical Director (Physician), American Heart Association (AHA), training center vendors, Human Resources, Security CoE Leadership, and Property Stakeholders to optimize the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the MGMRI Security Life Safety services program. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Lead multiple programs simultaneously, managing and operationalizing them in alignment with Corporate Security strategy, while collaborating and engaging with multi-team Security initiatives with similar requirements, resources, and budgets. | Create and maintain clear program planning by effectively factoring resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs, and Risk Management compliance. | Independently engage additional resources within MGM Resorts International and external partners as needed to address operational challenges and opportunities, adjusting strategy per Security Leadership guidance as challenges or opportunities arise. | Continuously evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of existing CPR, AED, Narcan, Stop the Bleed, and First Aid training/certification programs, curriculums, and related functional areas with respect to staff performance, state of readiness, regulatory compliance, and MGM Policy and Procedure. | Evaluate existing AED equipment and related systems regarding age, condition, and technological status to ensure a proper state of readiness, maintenance, and lifecycle management. | Regularly measure and document progress of the CPR, AED, Narcan, Stop the Bleed, and First Aid services program plan, formulating status reports and presenting briefings to Senior Leadership, Property Stakeholders, and External Partners to optimize execution. | Provide a balanced approach to the management and oversight of assets, tests, security medical supplies, and resource budget considerations for all Life Safety programs. | Communicate clearly and concisely with Security CoE Team Members, Property Stakeholders, the Medical Director, American Heart Association, Training Center Vendor(s), and Equipment Partners. | Manage the CPR/AED Security Response Simulation program, including comprehensive documentation, performance metrics, and compliance reporting. | Actively participate in organizational events, including Security Academy and property-specific recognition programs. | Partner closely with Regional Security teams via frequent travel and virtual platforms to deliver ongoing operational guidance and support. | Collaborate and support other academy initiatives and operations. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills to draft complex business correspondence in accordance with MGM standards, and confidently deliver high-level briefings to senior leadership, property stakeholders, and external partners. | Demonstrated strength in decision-making, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations to lead programs effectively and collaborate across complex team environments. | Highly skilled in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and enterprise procurement tools (such as Coupa). | Proven ability to independently develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive program policies, resource utilization metrics, and regulatory compliance standards. | Strong ability to work independently and navigate a fast-paced, complex, and high-volume corporate resort and gaming environment. | Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, with the flexibility to travel regularly to regional properties to support on-site programs. |
