This position and their team will be responsible for selling tickets and sponsorships. This position will lead cross-functional teams including but not limited to Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Sponsorship, and Ticketing in the development and execution of the Live Events Strategy. This position will interact with all levels across the organization as well as senior‐level executives to gain alignment and support for the effective implementation and long‐term sustainability of the events business. Over time, this position may lead additional members of the team. Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Responsible for the creation of sales business plans, budgets, and revenue proformas for high-profile (potentially large-scale) MGMRI events, based on extensive research, analysis, and financial planning | Oversees the development and successful execution of revenue strategy plans for each event including complete timelines and/or critical paths, targeted sponsorship firms and amounts, and identifying assets to sell for the creation of immersive and unique VIP experiences | Through collaborative partnership with senior leadership of MGMRI's Sponsorship team, define tiered benefit levels within a packaging strategy based on strategic valuation and industry knowledge | Directs and implements the sales strategy for high-value sponsorship opportunities for events, as well as unique, luxury VIP experiences and ticket packages to VIP customer segments | Primary stakeholder in identifying potential external partnerships, and negotiating contracts with partners (media, sponsors, ticketing) | Drive the fulfillment and monetization of activations and VIP experiences through direct collaboration with property leadership teams (F&B, Hotel Operations, VIP Services, etc), | Establishes brand framework for engaging, high-quality sales collateral for events collaborating with internal MGMRI creative teams and external agencies | Manage division's events by ensuring critical items are executed on-time and within budget. Oversees a team and partners with stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment, drive accountability, ensure deliverables are met, and appropriate resources are available |
