Job Profile Title: | Apprn Painter-Union | Job Code: | 14004 | Profile Title: | 14004 Apprn Painter-Union | Grade / Band: | Union - Hourly | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | It is the responsibility of the Apprentice Painter to perform predictive maintenance and reactive repairs, performing duties in all phases of painting and wall covering for all areas of the property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on painted and papered surfaces and systems throughout the property, responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management | Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner; to include ability to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment as required | Prepare surface to be painted, paint and install wall covering, adjust paint to proper color as necessary, patch, tape and texture and acoustic as necessary; work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner | Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods | Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment | Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention. Be able to wear/use all personal protective equipment (p.p.e.) | Perform other job-related duties as requested |
