Job Profile Title: | Tech Entertainment Ld-Union | Job Code: | 14166 | Profile Title: | 14166 Tech Entertainment Ld-Union | Grade / Band: | Union - Hourly | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | The Lead Entertainment Tech is responsible leading their respective department, either Audio, Carpentry, Props, Lighting, Effects, or Wardrobe. Responsible for operating and maintaining all related equipment. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Running cue tracks to include audio, electronics, fly, follow spot, lighting, carpentry, wardrobe and props. | Operate and maintain all related equipment. | Must have knowledge of necessary equipment inside showroom. | Ensure equipment and supplies are stocked in sufficient quantity to ensure the on-going needs of the production. | Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: show run, show changes, programming, control system and general maintenance in both showroom and lobby areas, rehearsals and special events. | Train new employees on department policies and procedures | Maintain the Artistic Vision set forth by Talent/Artist within MGMRI and Department Guidelines. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Ability to coordinate tasks with other departments to ensure safe and smooth show run. | Ability to adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training. | Ability to work in a showroom; must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality, sudden loud noises and pyrotechnic effects & smoke; must also be able to tolerate the presence of live horses and the items required for their maintenance. | Excellent customer service skills. | Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts. | Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. |
