Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Modify or revise complex digital that RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media | Work with Creative supervisors to create a complete layout and resolve design and production timelines | Generate high quality comps for presentation or review | Prioritize a high-volume workload and follow-up on jobs | Work efficiently and quickly to meet deadlines | Utilize production knowledge to create clean and accurate files | Fully understand department job process and procedures |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Complete a design test using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop within a specific time frame | Proficient in Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator | Experience with proofing, preflighting files and prepress | Knowledge of typography rules and convention | Knowledge of production know the difference between RGB and CMYK, resolution, scale, proportion and bleeds, difference between vector art and rastor art, understand publication specifications, write simple specs and/or verify specs match the digital file | Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms | Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical information | Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts |
