Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Use design direction and specifications to fabricate décor treatments for room, ceiling, entry, stage and walls | Use appropriate techniques and tools to paint, cut, sew, glue and assemble props to produce well-developed, safe, quality decor | Properly pack for transport, unpack and check goods against orders and handle inventory to protect against damage | Ensure that tools are maintained and MREP studio is left in a clean and orderly condition | Stay current in design trends, production techniques and vendor products and share/train with teams to inspire creativity | Lead crews in-studio or on installation and tear downs on selected events | Participate in event installation/tear down and loading/unloading of vehicles as needed | Accurately read and complete all required paperwork | Create a SHOW Service work environment promoting creativity, collaboration, teamwork, recognition, mutual respect | Actively promote MREP within the company and the events industry |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | Knowledgeable of production practices, tools, equipment and techniques | Knowledgeable of and talent in carpentry, paint, fabric, foam and/or other media | Knowledgeable of operating hand and power tools and equipment | Knowledgeable of event installation, rigging, mechanical procedures | Able to drive vans, 24’ box trucks, stake bed trucks, and operate forklift, scissors lift, and cherry pickers | Able to lift items, push and pull carts, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time | Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms | Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment | Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, | i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine | Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail | Excellent customer service skills and interpersonalskillsto effectively communicate with all business contacts |
