Job Profile Title: | Cashier Poker TD | Job Code: | 14938 | Profile Title: | 14938 Cashier Poker TD | Grade / Band: | 04 | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | It is the primary responsibility of the Poker Cashier to process monetary transactions and exchanges with guests and staff in the Poker cage area. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Perform chip redemption and sales to patrons, Poker runners and Floor personnel | Meet the demands of a fast-paced gaming environment by using good judgement and the ability to multi-task | Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets | Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, when necessary | Balance bank at end of shift | Assist patrons with general information upon request | Issue or surrender poker safety deposit boxes and provide access to patrons | Establish new patron accounts following Title 31 guidelines | Provide buy-in and re-buys for patrons participating in all poker tournaments. Assist Poker room supervision with paid patron participation totals. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | KSAs | General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling | Ability to balance a bank without assistance (locating errors when out of balance) | Knowledgeable of 10-key adding machine and currency counter | Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms | Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment | Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine | Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail | Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts |
