As a Hotel Services Coordinator, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By  understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry  with them far beyond their stay with us.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Complete quality control room / suite inspections identifying FF&E, bedding, deco items, engineering and housekeeping  issues

Develop an administrative tracking process to follow-up on issues

Develop a centralized communication process for managers and supervisors to report guest room and suite issues

Work with Hotel Services Supply Manager to order replacement items

Work with Supply Manager to streamline ordering process for items ordered through the Design Center

Work with Hotel Services Project /Systems Manager to develop computerized catalog of guest room / suite FF&E / bedding  items

Work with Executive Housekeeper to conduct surveys on furniture in rooms, suites and hallways that need to be  upholstered or repaired

Coordinate and follow-up with Engineering on repairs

Maintain a tracking system on items that have been ordered to ensure follow-through occurs

Develop spec book for lamps and shades to streamline ordering process

Photograph and update guest room standards book’s as changes occur

Ability to prioritize and take initiative, complete projects and assignments independently and with a sense of urgency, and  develop and present department action plans

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e.  telephone, copier, fax machine

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular  attention to detail

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
