Job Profile Title: | Coord Purchasing | Job Code: | 15135 | Profile Title: | 15135 Coord Purchasing | Grade / Band: | 05 | FLSA Status: | Non-Exempt | It is the primary responsibility of the Retail Buying Clerk to provide support to the Retail Buying team by ensuring purchase orders are entered accurately and efficiently. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Prepares master planning settings and purchase order allocations. | Monitors and prepares price changes, including markups, markdowns, markup cancellations, markdown cancellations, and any promotional pricing. | Processes new styles, new orders, reorders, and special orders. | Maintains and validates SKU’s. | Assists Buyer with coordinating vendor returns (RTV’s). | Assists Buyer with vendor set up and compliance paperwork, along with vendor file updates. | Coordinates all product transfers. | Coordinates purchase order maintenance, including but not limited to, order confirmation, order modifications, and ticketing requests. | Monitors open and back orders providing communication to appropriate business partners. | Communicates with internal and external stakeholders on any inbound or outbound retail shipments. | Monitors compliance with vendors and notifies supervisor of any concerns. |
