As a Culinary Utility Person, you will be responsible for performing duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Prepare food for service according to assignment by the Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef

Transport food products from production kitchens to restaurants or other food holding areas in a timely fashion

Move food from holding boxes to the front-line steam tables and cold bins for use by internal and external guests

Maintain clean and sanitary work areas throughout the meal period or working shift

Return unused food items to overnight storage or other proper recovery areas according to established procedures

Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an  accident report in the event an accident occurs

Ensure the food prep areas and related floor areas are properly clean and safe at all times from any spills or mess

Performs other job-related duties as requested

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience

Food production/preparation experience in a high-volume restaurant

Preferred

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Required

Food production/experience in a three-diamond rated property or above (AAA Diamond Rating)

Ability to understand units of measurement, basic math skills

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular  attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to function and act independently

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
