The server is also responsible for general cleaning and performing side duties. | | | | | |
Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections | Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation | Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately | Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach | Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment | Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense ofurgency | Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries | Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required | Perform other job-related duties as requested |
