Principal Duties & Responsibilities | Follow method of food preparation, baking method and techniques, properly prepare and serve dessert as instructed by the Chef | Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperature | List preparations that need to be completed daily and always be present during hours of service | Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish | Assemble recipes without any assistance | Communicate and assist management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any challenges or needs requested by guests and employees | Monitor and maintain cleanliness of work area, utensils and equipment | Delegate tasks to other pastry job classifications as instructed by chef |
