The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of all equipment, and employ a comprehensive preventative equipment  maintenance program, under the direction of head mechanic.

Maintain golf course equipment and golf cart fleets, according to head golf course mechanic, place safety as a top priority  and maintain a clean service area and maintenance building

Instruct proper equipment procedures to operators and preventative maintenance procedures

Ensure maintenance staff remains in compliance with OSHA safety standards, inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical  defects and failures in electrical, diesel, and gasoline engines used on the property

Prioritize equipment repair based upon direction of golf course mechanic, monitor equipment performance, and adjust  equipment in the field to meet the standards of maintenance

Maintain a preventative maintenance program within guidance of head mechanic

Knowledge of and or ability to understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course

Performs other job-related duties as requested

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Able to use a variety of repair tools, welding, fabrication, engine repair, and troubleshooting equipment and malfunctions

Knowledgeable of hydraulics, diesel, gasoline, and electric systems

Able to work under the direction of the mechanic supervisor and adapt to the maintenance theories and practices

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
